Hanna-Barbera at San Diego Comicon
Okay, Turner corporate -as such - won't be attending SD Comicon, but
Hanna-Barbera will be bringing that huge JQ booth (in the admissions
area rather than the main floor - if you're interested), and there will also
be some of 'em at the Dark Horse booth. Cartoon Network will also
show up, but they'll probably just hang with the Barberians wherever they
roam.
'Kay, if any of us are planning to attend, those staffing the various booths
are, well..."veterans" of the Katwars to date, so you won't really be telling
them anything they haven't heard a billion times before - and louder.
I suppose the possible exception would be Dark Horse, who as you
remember, decided not to go ahead with the Katcomic idea suggested
by Christian as "Kat characters don't work". Still, be civil - you're ambassadors
for the rest of us that can't attend.
They'll also have their animation panel and screening on the Friday from
1:00 - 2:30, and if you're into "Dexter" at all, the creator of him/it will
be in the H-B booth on Saturday from 2-4 pm.
Once again, the Kats won't be turning up, but the Tremblay bros. usually
do (or so I understand), and you can ask TCN as many questions as you like
without having to wait weeks for "Toonnet".
(Thank you, Mr. Public Service Announcement. You have a great future awaiting
you in handbills)
