How do you know that it's not a landmass similar to Antarctica, in the
north...? Keep in mind, continental drift COULD have occurred differently there...

Again, this can be attributable to the earliest stages of the world's
forming; perhaps "Australia" never separated from "Africa", or perhaps the
"Egyptian" culture was on the same portion of the original landmass as the "Australian"...
