Sonic IRC

I just left the Sonic IRC. The amount of people joining was rising, and
everything was going smoothly until all my incoming messages just stopped.
I am rather impatient, so most likely if I waited just one more minute I
would've gotten all the messages. Now all you guys on IRC know the reason
for my rather abrupt departure. I was wondering if the time it takes a
message to get delivered differs with the time of day. If so, we could set
up for an IRC session during a non peak hour of the day, say early in the
day on a weekend. Any other suggestions?
