It's been in the new subscriber intro text for some time. Check the list
archives under the Subject: Welcome to sonic and sonic-digest. I post
this document to the list after each update.
You can get the new subscriber intro text at any time by sending a
message to majordomo_at_lists.mv.net. Put these lines in the text area:

end
Leave the Subject: line blank because majordomo will ignore it.
