Since I play one, and have one featured on my web page, I'll answer that.
A kitsune (multi-tailed fox) is a magical creature, according to
Japanese Mythology. The more tails they have, the more magic, power, and
rank they have (nine is the max). But also, the more tails they have, the
more corrupt and evil they are. That's all I understand about it.
