Hmmmmm. It was previously reported in r.a.a that 1) one of ABC's Fall
cartoon shows would be based on the film "Dumb and Dumber"; and 2) that
the ABC kidvid execs who made that decision had gotten the sack. So
perhaps D&Der was supposed to take the 9:00 slot.

Don't think that even asking nicely will get Sonic on by Fall; even if
Sega and DiC have patched up their differences, you need about 6-8
months to produce a half-hour cartoon. That might get Sonic on in time
for the Feb sweeps, but it's still doubtful.

Still, I don't suppose it could hurt to make our feelings known to Dic
and ABC/Disney or whatever they're going to be calling themselves.
