We've already seen a good Sonic and an evil Sonic. The Sonic I want to
see is halfway in-between; imagine a world where Robotnik's every bit as
rotten as he is in the 'mainstream' universe, but where our favorite
hedgehog fights him for pay, not ideals. The rest of his crew would be
similarly hard-bitten: Bunnie, Sonic's right-hand strong-arm with a yen
for revenge; Tails, an accomplished sneak-thief and expert at disabling
security; Rotor, the inventor of new and lethal weapons to aid their
fight. Sally and Antoine would probably be about the same, though
there'd be little romance between Sally and Sonic; hiring a team of
experienced terrorists is bound to drain the royal coffers...
