Isn't that a bit overreacting?

Will list-admin Erich be back by then? But if it's your machine/account,
I guess it doesn't matter...

Well, that's what the delete command is for, but I can't argue with the low
quality lately...

The main things I _don't_ want to lose are Ken Penders' inputs as a Sonic
writer/insider and Dan Drazen's reviews of the comics (even if he _was_
apparently the straw that broke your back just by posting a "thanks"
comment to the list instead of taking it to e-mail...)

Except when they're GE and they decide to drop 90+% of the alt.* traffic
(even though they supposedly still carry the groups). I really can't blame
them, since it's not related to business stuff. However, since all I have
is a 286 system at home, I'm not going to upgrade to a 486 with Windows just
so I can sign up with somebody like AOL - I'll go back to my genealogy hobby
before I do _that_...

Maybe what I'll do is maintain my original Sonic list and expand it to
include the "quality" regulars from this list; maybe somebody else will
want to restart it up as a regular mailing list again sometime...

Well, it's been fun, but I guess nothing lasts forever except the love of God;
bye everybody...
