What you received is an update to the list's intro text. I post it to
the list every time there is an update to be sure everyone gets a chance
to see it. I will also repost it from time to time as a reminder of the
list's policies.
You can always review the intro text by sending these 2 lines:
info sonic
end
to majordomo_at_lists.mv.net in the text area of a message (leave the
Subject: line blank).
I plan on (finally!) writing the update to the list's Web page over the
next few days. Then we'll have 3 FAQ's, the third one being a FAQ for
the list itself. For those without Web access, the important information
will continue being placed in the intro text.
