Try this. It's what I put at teh beginning of all of my stories

based on characters created by Service and Games (SEGA), Inc. and on
characters created by Archie Comic Publications

This story is protected under copyright law. Any use other than what the
author specifies is strictly prohibited. THe author grants his
permission for . . . (I usually say free, unaltered distribution)
