And I'll add that unlike many lists and newsgroups where the readership rolls over
during the course of the year, the katslist still has most of the folks it started with.
Pretty amazing considering we only have a 24 episode base from which to work
from. "Flintstones" by comparison has something like 166, "Animaniacs" about
93, and Lord knows how many for "The Simpsons". One of the things that
makes a canceled show 'classic' is the ability of the fans to keep it alive through
fanfiction, as anyone can see during those long years where there were no
new episodes of "Star Trek", and currently with the still extensive fan following of
things like "Dr. Who" and "The Prisoner" - both long since defunct.

Way to go, guys!
