Signal-to-noise ratio

The signal-to-noise ratio on this mailing list is getting a little high
lately -- single-line postings with rather limited scope. May I humbly
request that responses to a single user not be posted to the whole group?

(dreading a slew of posted replies that all say, "Yeah, what he said!")
