Effective IMMEDIATELY I'm making the list subscription "closed".  All
this means is that any subscribe requests will be forwarded to me for
approval.

I've already had a couple of incidents where people have been subscribing
nonexistent or invalid addresses to the list, so mail sent to the list
immediately starts bouncing from these addresses.

People are still welcome to subscribe or unsubscribe from the list, but
I need to approve all subscribe requests first.  Questions on this to
me in email, please.  Thanks.
