    Rat, I can't say that I BLAME you for shutting the list down, but you
can't expect to take something away from such die-hard fans and not have
any angry responses.
    You also have to admit that you HAVE had your inadequecies in the past
-- anyone who says they've always been right is an arrogant, lying
Benny-wannabe. (Sorry. Inside joke.) People SHOULD let sleeping dogs
lie, but on the other hand, if they DON'T, you shouldn't respond the same
way. Though every last one of us owes you thanks, YOU owe each of US an
apology, at LEAST for the closing.
    In any case, I'm trying NOT to take sides, but the more this
progresses, the less oriented I am to defending you.
