Don't make the mistake XBEN did!
It's a very simple concept.
If you have a secret move or code that nobody else knows, you have 3 options:
- Option 1: Post a message saying "I know a code, and here is how to do it!".
Result: People will love you. In fact, you will build a reputation for
providing accurate moves.
- Option 2: Don't say anything. If you have a code, but can't tell, this is your
only acceptable option. If you really are under contract, then follow it
and don't even hint that you have it.
Result: Nothing will happen. Good or bad. But at least nobody will think
you are a lamer.
- Option 3: Post a message saying "I have a code, but won't tell." or
reply to a "I have 21 things left to find." message with
"I have everything!", and not tell how to do anything. There is no excuse
for this. If you have a move, only options 1 and 2 are acceptable.
I like the "standing on top of a table at
a party and saying "FREE BEER!!!, but I can't give you any." analogy.
Result: people think you are either lying and trying to get attention.
People will flame you, and you will be be hated.
