With their tails, How do the kats sit down? I have a cat, and I perceive
that scrunching up their tail like that would be very uncomfortable.

I thought of this (and lost a lot of sleep over it), and came up with an
answer. I think that a kat's tail would be exceedingly flexible in the
(mumble)... AND that they could have their tails usually between their legs
when they sit down. When I was reading the book "A Miracle of Rare Design"
by Mike Resnick, I noted that the main guy was surgically changed into this
bug alien and that when he sat down in chairs, he'd be uncomfortable, but on
the native planet of the aliens like him, they had made the chairs to siut
them, so they'ed feel comfortable. ANYWAY, my point IS that maybe kats also
design their chairs to help siut them. I know this is really long winded,
*but* this was the only way I could think of to say this!! <gasps for air,
face blue!>
