Subject: Kats swimming

All right, so maybe I was being flippant when I said that kats
don't like water.

To the best of my knowledge, it is only navy pilots who are given
"Water-based" training.

As for Enforcers learning swimming, it is unlikely. T-Bone couldn't
swim even a little; hard to imagine he could have faked his way
through the training.

But just like with humans, some kats learn to swim, and others don't.
The Ferals simply learned when they were young.

I suppose it depends on how one is brought up. I learned to swim,
because of a mother who had a fear of drowning and insisted that all
of her children be strong swimmers. Of the Newfoundland fishermen,
more than 80% do not know how to swim. They do not waste time learning,
as the water there is so cold, they will die quickly if they fall in,
and swimming will not help them.

Am I rambling again? Where's my prune juice?
